Cell phone user

first first first first first
The series of paintings are inspired by a visit to a pre-historic place called Gudiyam Caves, near Thiruvallur, Tamilnadu made by the artist. The elliptical stones are the stone tools used by early man and symbolically represent the Stone Age. In contrast, it shows a lady holding a cell phone, representing our evolution from users of crude stone tools to sophisticated instruments like cell phones, which have become as common as the stone tools of the pre-historic centuries.
