The Story Teller

first first first first first
This artwork of the artist is based on a series called “The Story Teller”. The chimpanzee in the painting represents the evolution of humans from the great apes and a sign of strength. The chimpanzee is the story teller and the woman is engrossed, listening to tales of bravery of her ancestors. The ambience in the painting depicts a typical tribal house with the lady sitting on a tribal couch made of wood and cane, covered with indigenous cloth. The chimpanzee sips local wine stored in the wooden pot behind the chimpanzee, which the woman has offered as a sign of gratitude to the chimpanzee for letting her know of the bravery of her ancestors. The human male face on the wall is an imagination of the woman of her brave ancestors.
