Dr. Ramanuj Pancholi

Radha dancing in moon light

first first first first first
The depiction of tender feeling of love and that too in a traditional style is the speciality of Ramanuj. He indeed takes care to bring out as much authenticity of the traditional painting as he can by continuous experimentation with colours. Pancholi says “I take care not to use sharp colours.  I try to keep the colour combinations toned down a bit. It actually hold the aesthetic value of the painting”. His painting style is influenced by mewar (a place in India) traditional style and the love story “Chour- Panchashika” series (the famous well known love stories of Vilhan and Champawati) comprise the central theme of his works.     This painting depicts eternal love of Radha and Krishna. In this painting Krishna is playing fluute  and his beloved Radha dancing in moonlight.
