About

Bolgum Nagesh Goudis an acclaimed painter from Hyderabad. He is figurative art painter and has even actively participated in puppet making.

He was born on 18th July 1965 in Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh.

He has been presently associated with various art galleries, including Gallery Pioneer New Delhi, Suruchi Art Gallery, Noida, Suchitra ART Gallery, Mumbai, Shrishti Art Gallery, Hyderabad, Artelements Art Gallery, New Delhi, Indian Art Nouveau Art Gallery, Gurgaon, MANTRA Art Gallery, Ahmedabad and Prakrit Arts gallery, Chennai.

Education & Work

He completed his Bachelor’s degree in Fine Art from Collage of Fine Arts, Jawaharlal Nehru Technology University, Hyderabad, in 1993. He was a university gold medal list. He also completed his Maharashtra Art certification in 1987 with Distinction.

He always wanted to express his creative and unique visual imaginary through medium of art paintings. His style of paintings is majorly reflects experimental studies and prehistoric stories. Bolgum Nagesh Goudtries to experiment by using different mediums, such as Acrylics, Water colors, Pen and Ink, Metallic inks, and oil pastels etc.

He mainly focuses on figurative, semi abstract and abstract forms at present. However, he wants to come up with new ideas that will comprise figurative human forms, portraits and nature.

Interestingly, apart from paintings Bolgum Nagesh Goud even likes to passionately work with his latest puppet marking series as these provide the line and stroke with color that he endears him so much.

He has participated in numerous of group shows, including Vivek Verdhani College Art Gallery, Hyderabad; Gulbarga College of Fine Arts –Gulbarga; JNTU College of Fine Arts – Hyderabad; Maxmuller Bhavan Art Gallery – Hyderabad; Pioneer Art Gallery online show - New Delhi; Symphony of Colors, Epicentre – Gurgaon. Organized by Artpanache Gallery – Gurgaon; ODYSSEY’ 1st – 4th August – 08, at India Habitat Center , New Delhi, Organized by ARTPANACHE Art Gallery – Gurgaon; PAPERNSIRES’ Desires on paper an Exhibition on paper from 9th August to 8th September 2008, at Suruchi Art Gallery ,Noida, Organized By Suruchi Art Gallery; CREATIVE CONVERGENCE “ – Art Show organized by INDIAN ART NOUVEAU Art Gallery- Epicenter-Gurgaon; 68th All India Art Exhibition 2009- organized by Hyderabad Art Society, Hyderabad and Group show organized by ARTELEMENTS ART GALLERY New Delhi, to name a few.

Nagesh Goudalso was part of youth festivals, including “SHRUTI” organised by Chaitanya Bharathi Institute of Technology Hyderabad and “POTPOURRI 88 “organized by JNTU College of Engineering –Kakinada and Hyderabad.

Awards and Accolades

Nagesh Goudwas conferred with Highly Commanded award by HYDERABAD ART SOCIETY; HIGHLY COMMANDED “award by LALIT KALA Samiti SIDDIPET. He was also awarded withCash Award by Lalitkala Samiti Siddipet andJNTU College of Fine Arts Hyderabad. Apart from this, he was bestowed with PUPPET MAKER-11award by Hyderabad Art Society.
